AFTD's Food for Thought campaign is a grassroots fundraising and awareness campaign focusing on food and Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) education. FTD, also known as Pick's Disease, is the most common form of dementia for people under 60 that causes devastating changes in one’s personality and ability to function. Sadly, there is no cure.
Fishtown Pickle Project will be proudly fundraising and raising awareness through October 8th in honor of (our cofounder) Niki’s dad, who was diagnosed 7 years ago at 57 years young.
A portion of proceeds from sales of select pickle flavors* will benefit our fundraising campaign.
*All flavors except Preston's Picks will contribute to the fundraiser.

Our Story
Fishtown Pickle Project is owned Chef Mike Sicinski and Dietitian Niki Toscani. We specialize in handcrafted, small batch, refrigerator pickles that feature culinary-inspired flavors that are extraordinary yet nostalgic.
Fresh is Best
Our pickles are refrigerated for optimal freshness and crunch! We use Kirby cucumbers for our pickles and source them locally when they are in peak season from July through October.
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
We craft our pickles purposefully and with great care, using all parts of the cucumber and sourced locally whenever possible to minimize our footprint on the environment.
Bold Flavor
Our small-batch fare is purposefully crafted using all natural ingredients and bold flavors that appeal to every palate.
